speeza Terms of Use
Last updated October 28, 2026
These terms apply to your use of speeza (“the app”), made by Kokdemir Labs, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. By using the app, you agree to them. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Using the app
speeza is for personal, lawful use: writing, translating and speaking phrases, and listening to texts. You are responsible for making sure your use of the app complies with applicable laws and the rights of others.
Translations are automatic
Translations, romanized pronunciations, speech recognition and the Apple Intelligence suggestions in the app are produced automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or sound unnatural. The phrases in the ready-made packs are a help, not professional advice.
Do not rely on the app alone where a mistake could cause harm, for example for medical, legal or safety matters, allergies or medication. When it matters, confirm with someone who speaks the language. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Apple services
The app uses features provided by Apple, including on-device translation, speech, speech recognition, Apple Intelligence and iCloud. Which languages and features you can use depends on your device, iOS version and region, and on Apple’s services, and may change. A language must be downloaded from Apple before it can be translated offline, which needs an internet connection.
Permissions
The app asks for the microphone and speech recognition only for conversation mode, and for the camera only when you scan text. Photos are chosen through the system photo picker, so the app does not ask for access to your photo library. If you say no to a permission, the rest of the app keeps working.
Purchases
speeza is free to download, and the free version includes translating, speaking and showing phrases in every language. speeza Pro is a one-time lifetime in-app purchase that unlocks the premium features described in the app. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and can differ by country. A limited-time offer may show a lower price for a short time.
- Payments are processed by Apple under your App Store account.
- Restore Purchase, on the purchase screen and in the app’s settings, brings Pro back on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. You can also redeem an App Store offer code in the app.
- speeza Pro supports Family Sharing. If you buy it and share purchases with your family group, up to five other family members can use Pro on their own devices.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds the purchase, Pro is removed.
Your content
You own the phrases, texts and other content you create or save in the app, and you are responsible for it. When you open a web page or a text in the Reader, respect its owner’s rights. The Reader is meant for your own reading and listening.
Things you must not do
Do not use the app to break the law, to harass, deceive or harm other people, or to infringe anyone’s privacy or intellectual property. Do not reverse engineer, modify or misuse the app, or try to get around its purchase checks.
Availability
We work to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device, iOS version or language.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that translations or speech will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kokdemir Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app, including damages caused by an inaccurate translation.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
