horlo Privacy Policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
This policy describes how horlo (“the app”), made by Kokdemir Labs, handles your information.
Summary
- There is no account, no advertising and no tracking.
- Your clocks and settings stay on your device. We do not run servers for your content.
- To manage the optional Pro purchase, the app uses Adapty with an anonymous identifier.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the clocks you create, their names and designs, and your settings on your device, in a container shared with the app’s widgets so they can draw your clocks. None of this is sent to us.
The app does not ask for access to your photo library, contacts, location, microphone or health data. It uses the camera only when you choose to scan a design code.
Sharing designs
When you share a clock, the app turns its design (shapes, colors and the name you gave it) into a link and a QR code. The design is carried inside the link, after the “#” sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to our website, so nothing is uploaded or stored on a server. Anyone you give the link or code to can see that design.
When you open a shared link without the app, the page at kokdemirlabs.com reads the clock’s name from the link in your browser to show it to you.
Camera and photos
If you scan a design code, the app uses the camera only to read the code, on your device. No image is saved or sent anywhere. If you pick a photo of a code, the system photo picker gives the app only the photo you pick, and the code is read on your device.
Purchases
horlo Pro is a one-time lifetime in-app purchase. Payments are handled by Apple, and we never see your payment details.
To unlock and restore your purchase, the app uses Adapty, a purchase management service. Adapty processes:
- a random identifier the app creates on your device and keeps in your device’s Keychain, so a reinstall keeps your purchase;
- your purchase and transaction information from the App Store;
- which screen in the app a purchase was started from.
Collection of the advertising identifier (IDFA) and your IP address is turned off in the app. We use this information to provide your purchase and to understand which offers work, not to identify you personally. Adapty’s handling of this data is described in its privacy policy linked above.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules them on your device, for example when a new version is out or before a limited-time offer ends. To learn about a new version, it asks Apple’s public App Store Lookup API for horlo’s version number. There is no push server, and no notification token leaves your device.
Our other apps
Settings lists our other apps. Tapping one opens its App Store page, which Apple provides. The app sends nothing about you to show this list.
Contacting support
If you write to us from inside the app, the email draft includes your app version, device model, iOS version, language, Pro status and the anonymous purchase identifiers above, so we can help with your purchase. You can see and remove these lines before you send the email.
Diagnostics
The app contains no crash reporting or analytics SDK. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Data retention and deletion
Your clocks and settings remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data. To have your purchase record removed from Adapty, contact us with the identifiers shown in the app’s support email.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
